This course is created according to the curriculum of the leading American company ESRI in geographic information systems, as it is considered one of the important programs in information technology. Small or large institutions or individual specialized in preparing and analyzing spatial databases and producing maps utilized this software.

ARCGIS II : Spatial Analysis In GIS

Description

This course is prepared according to the curriculum of the leading American company ESRI in geographic information systems, where it is considered one of the important programs in Information Technology. No small or large organization or individual specialized in the preparation and analysis of spatial databases and the production of maps can do without these programs.

Who should attend?

  • Students majoring in geomatics engineering, geographic information systems and remote sensing.

  • Graduate students in civil engineering specialties (project management, roads and transport, environmental and sanitary engineering).

  • Graduates working in the private sector and specialized employees preparing spatial databases and producing maps for urban and urban planning specialties, agricultural and environmental specialties, and Water Resources.

What will we learn in this course?

  1. Adding data (vectors) to the program and how to manage the data, arrange them and find their contents.

  2. Handling query tools and color gamut according to metadata.

  3. Dealing with layer symbols and their color gamut.

  4. How to apply selection tools according to metadata.

  5. Dealing with data display tools and controlling the transparency of layers.

  6. Use the geoprocessing Tools menu where Clip tools will be handled, handle the attribute Table metadata and spatial data table, and use the field Calculator tool.

  7. Add data (visual images) to the program.

  8. Change the colors and symbols of the layers to suit the output.

  9. Building geodatabase spatial databases and transferring data from an existing layer to a new layer.

  10. Create layers using guided Digitizing and handling the editor toolbar.

  11. Buffer & Erase process application.

  12. Transition from Data view to Layout view with activating the layout bar from the toolbars, selecting the proper templates, and adjusting the printing sheet for printing and map production.
